Tré Cool's signature drumstick: the Zildjian Artist Series, not Vater (correction)

Correction. Tré Cool's documented signature drumstick is the Zildjian Tré Cool Artist Series, not a Vater signature model. Spec, sourcing, and what we got wrong.

Correction. The Vater Tré Cool Signature drumstick previously listed on this page does not exist. Tré Cool's documented signature drumstick is the Zildjian Tré Cool Artist Series: 2B dimensions, American hickory, acorn tip, moderate taper, 16-1/2 inch length, 0.625 inch diameter. The original page mis-attributed his stick to Vater; this page is preserved at the same slug as a correction so existing internal links continue to resolve.

Catalog audit pending. Amazon listing not yet wired; Trace verifies the canonical ASIN at the next quarterly catalog audit. Editorial review below.

Correction notice

This page previously described a "Vater Tré Cool Signature" drumstick (model VHTCW) with detailed specs and a Vater artist-page citation. That product does not exist. Tré Cool's documented signature drumstick is the Zildjian Tré Cool Artist Series, not a Vater model. The earlier page was a fabrication caught during the May 2026 catalog audit. The slug is preserved so internal links from other CYS pages continue to resolve; the content below describes the actual signature stick.
