Privacy and Cookie Policy
Analytics that use cookies only run if you say yes. With your OK, Morphly, a first-party analytics tool, measures page views and clicks on this site. You can change your mind anytime with the Privacy choices button.
Where this policy stands
This policy is still being finalized. Until it is, it describes how the site's analytics are set up today. Questions go to hello@changeyourstrings.com.
Page counts without cookies
We use Plausible to count page views. It doesn't set cookies or track you across other sites.
What Morphly collects after you say yes
- An anonymous first-party visitor ID.
- What you do on this site, such as page views, clicks and time on page.
- Campaign tags in the link you arrived from (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content).
- Page paths, without query strings.
- Your device type: mobile, tablet or desktop.
Collection happens on this site only. Morphly doesn't use data from other sites or accounts.
Consent and choices
The Morphly script doesn't load until you've said yes to analytics. You can accept, decline, manage your choices or opt out.
Opting out saves your choice, asks Morphly to delete your current profile, and clears the Morphly cookie in your browser.
Cookies and local storage
_mly_consent
Stores analytics and personalization choices in localStorage.
Written when the visitor accepts, declines, or saves choices.
_mly_id
Anonymous first-party Morphly visitor identifier used only after analytics consent.
Created by Morphly after the consent-gated loader runs. Opt out clears it.
Processors
Morphly processes analytics data on our behalf and runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Change Your Strings uses Morphly for measurement only.
Affiliate links
Change Your Strings earns money through affiliate links, such as Amazon Associates. When you click one, the store may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Morphly never changes our affiliate links or page content.
Deleting your data
Want your data deleted? Email hello@changeyourstrings.com and we'll take care of it.
